£550-£750 per day (inside IR35)

The Senior Delivery Lead role involves leading the business workstream for the Student Information System replacement project, ensuring it meets the University’s needs. The role includes providing expert advice, identifying and solving issues, recommending improvements, and supporting the implementation of solutions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Lead on the provision of objective and expert information, advice and guidance for managers within the organisation on improvements to services and activities related to a specific area of expertise.
• Assess queries and potential issues, identifying options and recommending solutions, liaising closely with relevant operational teams.
• Support the implementation of improvement solutions in the relevant area of the business.
• Lead on communicating the relevant business area’s needs to the project team, interpreting requirements, and approving changes to business process to align with sector best practice.
• Lead on User Acceptance Testing for the business area, using and evaluating accuracy and usability, and providing feedback to the project team.
• Support the development of user documentation and training materials for the business area ensuring accessibility and usability aligned to technical authoring and training standards.

ESSENTIAL ROLE-SPECIFIC CRITERIA
1. Excellent working knowledge of UK higher education student statutory and regulatory reporting such as HESA Data Futures, HESA Aggregate Offshore, Graduate Outcomes, ITT (Initial Teacher Training) return and the Higher Education Early Statistics Survey.
2. Complete understanding of the requirements of the area of expertise for the new Student Information System.
3. Experience of working with the student records systems in relation to regulatory reporting.
4. Experience of training and supporting staff through change.
