 JNC Qualified Youth Worker

 

A really exciting opportunity has arisen within Warwickshire County Council’s Targeted Youth Support. Warwickshire County Council was recently graded good by Ofsted and this is a really exciting time to join and be part of our team.

 

Targeted Youth Support are a valued part of a restorative Children’s Service and have been invested and supported to grow over the last two years. We are an evidence-based service that can prove the positive impact we make with young people. Young people are at the heart of all we do.

 

Targeted Youth Support are a team of JNC qualified Youth Workers sitting within Children’s Services. Each Youth Worker is involved in delivering 121 youth work, group work and detached youth work. We run from 6 youth work bases around the county. These bases include 3 vibrant and busy youth clubs.

 

We are looking for JNC degree qualified Youth Workers who absolutely love youth work. You will need experience of working with young people in lots of different situations and enjoy new challenges in your practice.  You should be skilled at working with others and thrive on being part of a welcoming and supportive team. The post will require working two evenings a week, occasional weekends and have flexible working hours. Our offer to you.
