Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum + Bonus
Role Overview:
As a Yard Foreman, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the yard. Your responsibilities will include coordinating transport activities, managing stock control, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule transport activities efficiently.
Oversee stock control and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Supervise and lead a team of yard staff.
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a yard is essential.
HIAB license is preferred but not essential.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
