What's the job?
We are looking for a new Yard Manager to work within a busy factory that produce Building Supplies. This is an all weathers, hands on, yard-based role working within a small team of 10. You will be charged with managing health & safety, spotting flaws in existing processes, creating new ones, goods inward, dispatch, loading, working with targets, bringing in a following up KPI etc.
It's a perfect position for someone to come in, make real change to a business and turn the yard around.
What skills do I need?
- A strong leader who is not afraid to shake things up and implement chance.
- A person who fully computer literate and able to use ERP / SAP systems.
- Some industry experience from wither manufacturing, production, construction, or a company that produces Building Supplies.
- Someone who can take charge of recruiting, training, and developing their own staff.
- A hands-on person (we are NOT looking for an operations person).
- Someone who can perform stock checks, quality checking and follow up KPI's.
