This position is responsible for ensuring that all goods in & goods out are processed efficiently to maximise operational profitability. Working in Hewish, the successful candidate will be part of team working under the supervision of the workshop supervisor.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and organising steel in the yard
- Competent FLT & side loader driver
- Coordinating deliveries in and out of the yard
- Demonstrate personal responsibility for all health and safety in the yard
- To ensure daily checks are completed
- Spray painting industrial steel, full training can be provided
- Filling out quality checks on paint specs
- Deliveries using company vehicles including flatbed to site
- To operate and control the plasma machine, full training can be provided
- Other duties as required by the business needs and within your capabilities

- Health and Safety Focussed
- Keen to learn new skills, spraying and operating a plasma
- Resourceful and self-motivated
- Ability to work without the need for direct supervision
- Ability to work as part of a team and by oneself
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Thorough with attention to detail
- Ability to take responsibility and ownership of the role
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- FLT & Side loader licence would be an advantage
