OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including operating forklifts to transport materials, loading and unloading goods, organising and maintaining the yard area, ensuring inventory accuracy, adhering to safety regulations, and assisting with other general yard duties as needed. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

39 Hours Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 16:30pm Friday 8:00am - 15:30pm
About The Role
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform general forklift driving duties within the yard.
· Ensure all products are stacked and stored safely and properly in the stock yards.
· Load and unload company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
· Handle deliveries for customers and the general public with professionalism.
· Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the yard area.
· Operate machinery safely and in accordance with operational guidelines.
· Maintain and perform routine upkeep of machinery.
· Complete daily check sheets accurately and promptly.
· Provide support as required for relevant departments and factories.
· Ensure the day-to-day upkeep of the yard and surrounding areas.
· Maintain general tidiness and perform maintenance tasks within the site.
· Operate housekeeping equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout the site
· Interact with other members of staff and management in a pleasant and professional manner;
· Act as an advocate for AG’s culture and values by demonstrating integrity, sustainability, customer care, wellbeing, and innovation in all aspects of your work and interactions with colleagues
· Carry out any other duties as required by management and within skills capabilities.
· Adhering to all Company Health and Safety polices at all times, wearing the correct company PPE while working in the plant and yard, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of work colleagues

Essential Criteria:
- Medically fit to undertake the physical requirements of the job.
- At least 1 years previous forklift driving experience preferably within a busy manufacturing environment
- Adherence and appreciation for H&S and general housekeeping standards.
- Ability to work quickly to meet strict deadlines.
- Experience of effective communication to team members.
- Good observational skills to spot defective products
- Reliable.
- Works well on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Patience to carry out repetitive tasks
- Good time keeper.
- Available to respond to production problems outside normal hours.
- Flexible approach to work required, willingness to retrain and learn new skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Valid Forklift drivers certificate
