Yard Person

We are recruiting for our highly successful and growing client based near Devizes to appoint them someone to work in the Yard.

As a Yard Person, you will be using and maintaining both the companies and customers materials and equipment. In this role, you will have many duties such as:

- Basic yard maintenance i.e. grass cutting, manage facilities & general housekeeping.
- Use of forklifts and telehandlers (Training provided)
- Use and control of the washdown area and maintain the local environmental requirements.
- Washing equipment
- Checking equipment in and out of yard and ensuring they are fit for work.
- Loading and unloading of materials and parts and storing away
- Collecting and delivering parts to site and customers
- Ensure that all waste is correctly recycled and disposed of
- Unlocking and locking of storage sheds
- DPF cleaning
- Maintenance of the yard, ensuring safety

To thrive in this position as Yard Person, it is important that you abide by health and safety regulations. On top of that, you will need to be:
- Punctual
- Self-motivation and proactive
- Be confident and communicating with both colleagues and customers
- Full driving licence

The hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm with an hour lunch break.
