Reed Facilities are representing one of the UK’s largest suppliers in the Construction and Utilities Industry to source an experienced Yard Manager to manager a new depot in Warwickshire.
Job Description
Due to our clients expansion, they are looking to appoint a full-time and permanent, hands-on Yard Manager who has circa. 5 years experience as a Fork-Lift Driver (Telehandler and Counter-Balance Fork Lift Trucks).
Job Requirements
- Be able to hit the ground running
- Confident self-starter with a “can do” positive attitude
- Good work ethic
- Minimum 5 years experience of operating Fork Lift Trucks
- Past experience of running a yard
- Be able to use their own initiative and happy to work by yourself and in a team
- Past experience of handling construction products
- Able to work with both sale and hire products
- Maintaining the high standards of Health & Safety
- Ensure efficient running of the yard operations
- Manual work, hands on
- All outdoor work
- Stock management
- Management of staff
On Offer
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm on site
- Pension Scheme
- Competitive Salary £28,000-£32,000 per annum & annual bonus (performance/profit related)

- 25 days holiday per year + Bank Holidays (some holidays to be used during Christmas shutdown)
- 2 stage Teams Interview
