The Lancashire Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Primary Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated outstanding primary school located in the semi-rural Rossendale Valley. This role is set to start in September and will run through the Autumn term of 2024, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Please note this position is not open to early career teachers.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging and effective teaching strategies to Year 1 pupils.
- Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Taking on subject leadership responsibilities and contributing to the school’s curriculum development.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the school’s outstanding Ofsted rating.
- Engaging with the school community and participating in school events.
- Upholding the values and ethos of the school, particularly if it is a faith school.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching at primary level.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Experience in subject leadership within a primary school setting.
- Understanding of the unique aspects of working in a faith school is advantageous.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
