The competitive pay for this position ranges from £150 to £210 per day, depending on experience, starting after the Easter half-term, requiring commitment for the remainder of the academic year. This position is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-performingYear 1 class. Responsibilities include: * Designing engaging lessons aligned with KS1 National Curriculum standards and supporting the school's creative curriculum * Understanding age-related expectations within KS1, tailoring teaching to maximise individual educational outcomes * Maintaining up-to-date records of student data, analysing to identify areas for re-teaching and ensuring high attainment levels * Establishing positive relationships with all students based on trust and mutual respect * Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants, key stage staff, and others to share advice, resources, and best practices
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong references supporting previous experience in KS1, ideally in Year 1
- A comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained
- Right to work in the UK
- All candidates will undergo enhanced DBS checks and provide suitable references.
