We are currently seeking a Year 1/2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. As a Year 1/2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to support the academic and social development of our students. Working within a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and the overall well-being of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders, providing regular updates on student progress and achievements.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with Key Stage 1 students is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.
- An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) or the willingness to get one.
- A minimum of two professional references.
