Year 3 Teacher - Wallasey

Your new company
We are currently looking for a full-time Year 3 Teacher for a dynamic primary school in the Wallasey area of the Wirral for one term starting in September 2024. Candidates must have previous experience of teaching lower key stage 2 classes, ideally including Year 3, and the school will consider any scale of teacher, including ECTs with experience of teaching Year 3 classes.

Your new role
As a Year 3 Teacher in school, you will have full teaching responsibility, including planning and delivering high-quality, creative and engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and follow the national curriculum. You will also be expected to assess, monitor and deliver pupil progress, provide feedback and support, and work collaboratively with other staff and parents. You will also have the opportunity of involvement in extracurricular activities and in the wider life of the school.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this Year 3 Teacher role, you will need to have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
• Experience of teaching Year 3 classes
• Evidence of delivering pupil progress through innovative and creative teaching
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
