SalarySmile Education are recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Erdington.
The school are seeking a classroom teacher to thrive to teach their Year 5 class.
Successful candidates will:
· Hold a valid QTS.
· Show a positive and uplifting manner.
· Be able to deliver and plan effective lessons to the whole class.
· Have successfully completed teaching placements or experience in KS2 classes.
What your day will look like?
- Planning and presenting engaging lessons to the whole class, assigning tasks, and encouraging group and class discussions.
- Deliver Maths and English interventions where necessary.
- Prepare and support the children’s transition to Year 6.
- Manage class behaviour securely.
- Setting homework and work tasks for children.
- Marking assessments and completing reports to measure students’ progress.
