Hays Education are representing a lovely LE4 based primary school that are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team on a long-term and full-time basis. As this is a long-term job, you will have full planning and marking responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic success
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Participate in school-wide events and initiatives, including parent-teacher conferences, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in KS2
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
