Academics are working closely with local primary schools in Retford who are looking for a confident Year 5/6 Teacher to support their teaching team's in the by covering PPA, sickness and training days on an ad-hoc basis.

Our schools are looking for certain skills and training when adding to their Year 5/6 team, which include:

• A QTS or equivalent
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A love for the classroom and education
• An enhanced DBS certificate or the willingness to process a new one
• Experience achieving great success for UPKS2 pupils
• Creativity and innovation when it comes to planning and delivering UPKS2 lessons
• The ability to take on feedback and reflect on your professional performance
• You will ideally have a proven track record of success leading pupils into their SATs year which can be evidenced through referencing
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum
