Year 6 Teacher Soihull

We are seeking a fully qualified Year 6 Teacher in Solihull to work on a part-time basis starting September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our Year 6 students, ensuring they are well-prepared for the transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of Year 6 students.
Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters academic growth.
Assess student progress effectively through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their development and attainment.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events and initiatives.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant teaching experience, preferably in Key Stage 2 or Year 6.
A thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
