Job Description
Morgan McKinley are currently looking to appoint a Financial Accountant for Year End reporting on an interim basis, this is an immediate start and will be paying 450-550 per day
Managing the group year-end and month end process:
• Management of year-end audit process, being key contact of external auditors;
• Preparation of financial statements for group (IFRS) and subsidiary (FRS101) accounts using
OneSource software;
• Technical support to wider finance team;
• Management of consolidation process, including technical compliance, submissions of overseas
entities and intercompany;
• Analysis and reporting on cash flow, investment performance and balance sheet;
• Management of balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring technical compliance .
Technical support - monitoring and implementing new accounting standards, managing wider finance
team to ensure correct implementation and ownership of technical accounting areas performed by group
finance.
Budgeting and forecasting:
• Technical expert on cash flow reporting and forecasting, ensuring sufficient funds are available to
meeting operational expenditure;
• Management of group cash flow process for budget and forecasting, ensuring all inputs by the
business are aligned and technically correct.
