DYPS has an excellent opportunity for you to become a Young Peoples coach, where you will be empowered an encouraged to coach our customers to reach their full potential. Your unique skills and attributes will be used to support customers on a day to day basis, allowing them to gain employment, education and independence.

Typical Day as a Young Persons Coach:

  • Using the Outcome Star to create support plans with your customers
  • Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, actions and goals setting and regular reviews
  • Helping customers with day to day tasks such as budgeting and meal planning
  • Helping customers with finances and benefits
  • Assisting customers to source education, training and employment opportunities
  • Supporting customers to successfully maintain their tenancy by monitoring rent payments and room cleanliness.

You will join Senior Coach Maxine, Coach Paige, Coach Gareth and Maintenance Officer Mark. We are really proud of DYPS and our customers and we are passionate about what we do. We are a very supportive team, who also welcome a bit of banter and chocolate biscuits to share at team meetings!

Job Details

  • We work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch
  • You will need to be confident using technology for creating and updating support plans, collaborating with colleagues and completing online training
  • You will need an enhanced DBS check done and Stonewater do pay for this.
