Form of workYouth Engagement Volunteer Cadet Lead is a new post to GMP Volunteer Police Cadets [VPC]
This is a 12-month pilot with a view to applying to make it a permanent role if successful pilot.
The aim of the role is to provide sustainability of our Cadet scheme backing up our volunteers and attract leads with Youth Engagement experience to work under the VPC Central Team and spearhead the reopening of currently closed Cadet Units and provide support and leadership of open units currently run by volunteers and improve the quality of Cadet sessions and the general running of units where needed.
The role will require flexibility and travel across Greater Manchester therefore a full valid driving licence and own vehicle essential. All fuel will be reimbursed.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop Greater Manchester Police Volunteer Police Cadets and develop the youth of Manchester.
The successful applicants will be dynamic , forward thinking and passionate about working with youth as well as being able to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised.
Some of our cadets have neurodiversity issues such as ADHD and autism experience in this area advantageous.
