SalaryHome-Start Lambeth is a charity offering support, friendship and practical help to families in their own homes, through a team of trained volunteers.
We are looking for a new part-time Family Groups Coordinator who will support a team of volunteers to deliver 2 weekly groups for families. Please note this role is term-time only.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- to organise, promote & deliver 2 groups: Little Munchkins (for babies) and Little Legends (for toddlers)
- to support a team of Home-Start volunteers to plan and deliver these groups
- to capture and make use of data to ensure the ongoing improvement of our groups delivery
We are looking for a dynamic and well-organised person, familiar with office systems, who can demonstrate empathy and good communication and interpersonal skills. Parenting experience, experience of working with vulnerable families and knowledge of the voluntary sector would be advantageous.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
