Job Description
Hays are proud to be working on behalf of a reputable social care provider in Suffolk who provide support to children that have mental health disabilities and emotional and behavioural disordered. These children are based in a supported living service and are supported by a great team of staff and they are looking for another member of staff to join the team.
You will be responsible for the following:
Supporting children in their personal, mental, emotional and physical development
Promoting independence within childrens lives
Interacting and getting involved in activities with the children
Reading and writing care plans
Taking children out into the community
To be considered for this role you must hit the following criteria:
You must have right to work in the UK and be living here
If you have lived or worked abroad on the last 5 years, you must hold a police certificate from that country.
You must be a passionate and caring individual and be able to support young adults and children in a calm, compassionate and resilient manner.
Hold a UK driving licence
This role is a full time position working day shifts which will vary between earlys, lates and long days. You will be required to work some weekends and bank holidays also. Your rota will always be given in advance.
