This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working alongside young people and empowering them to have their voices heard and be leaders for change.
As Youth Participation Officer, the post holder will run our participant-led work with pupils in schools across London, helping them to investigate how poverty affects the school day and supporting them to call for changes that will make a difference to those living on a low income. This work will be key in CPAG’s ‘Cost of the School Day: Young Leaders project’, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund’s Reaching Communities programme.
We welcome applications from any individuals with the skills and experience listed and we can be flexible in terms of the conditions of employment. This means we would be happy to discuss alternative working hours, days and patterns, and any additional needs or requirements. CPAG also prioritises and has a commitment to equal opportunities, which you can read more about in the job pack. The postholder will be based in the London office and would have the option, by agreement, to work from home on days where you are not working in schools or attending other activities.
