�? About the Role:
As a dedicated Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to young people aged 11-16, with a focus on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Your responsibilities will include offering 1:1 assistance in challenging lessons and providing support in small groups.
?? What We're Looking For:
No prior experience in a school environment? No worries! We provide comprehensive training and guidance to kick-start your journey. All we require is a fantastic personality, confidence, excellent communication skills, tactfulness, empathy, and a positive attitude.
?? Key Responsibilities:
* Academic support for students with SEN or SEMH
* 1:1 assistance in challenging lessons
* Group support in various academic settings
* Pastoral care, comfort, encouragement, and a listening ear
? Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm.
?? Remuneration:
* £80 per day for trainees
* Negotiable rate for experienced Teaching Assistants
