Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young lives? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Youth Workers for a rewarding role in collaboration with a prominent secondary school in South Bristol.
�? About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of our effort to provide essential support to young people aged 11-16, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Your responsibilities will include offering 1:1 assistance in challenging lessons and providing support in small groups.
?? What We're Looking For: No prior experience in a school environment? No problem! We offer comprehensive training and guidance to get you started. All we require is a fantastic personality, confidence, excellent communication skills, tactfulness, empathy, and a positive attitude.
?? Key Responsibilities:
* Academic support for students with SEN or SEMH
* 1:1 assistance in challenging lessons
* Group support in various academic settings
* Pastoral care, comfort, encouragement, and a listening ear
? Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm
?? Remuneration:
* £80 per day for trainees
* Negotiable rate for experienced Teaching Assistants
