The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Youtube Script Writer and Researcher to join our team.
Please note, we are looking for someone with script writing experience writing in someone’s tone of voice (not a copywriter). It is strongly desired that this within the Youtube space, or you possess a strong understanding of Youtube script structures.
This role is ideal for individuals who are fascinated by true crime, possess excellent research skills, and have a knack for compelling storytelling.
As a Youtube Script Writer and Researcher, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and creating content that both informs and captivates our audience.
- Write engaging and well-researched true crime scripts for the creators youtube channel that adheres to our company's editorial guidelines. This will extend to other forms of content such as social posts.
- Writing brand briefs where needed
- Peer review work and edit content for accuracy, grammar, and style consistency
- Ensure that all content meets high editorial standards and maintains the Creator’s tone of voice
- Conduct in-depth research into true crime cases and mystery cases, including gathering information from reliable sources such as news articles, books, documentaries, and interviews
- Analyse and evaluate the credibility of sources to ensure accuracy and authenticity, logging all sources
- Managing timelines, being the central point of contact for the research team
