Job description

You will be an innovative and creative teacher with a student-centred vision. You will have ambition, energy and drive to provide our students with exciting and challenging lessons.


The provision aims to deliver dynamic and exciting lessons to students at KS4, many of whom have a range of individual support needs and who may find a college environment more appropriate for their educational needs. Class sizes are typically 10-18 students per class.


You will be self-motivated, a good communicator and have the ability to manage and teach students. The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification, and be qualified to Degree level.

Any offers of appointment may be withdrawn if these checks prove to be unsatisfactory to the College. Self-disclosure will be required as part of the recruitment process. Welcome to the Attlee A Level Academy, our dedicated centre in E1 focused on high academic achievement and university progression. We are named after Clement Attlee, a former UK Prime Minister and great advocate for social equality and advancement.

What we offer

We provide education and training to young people aged from 14-18 years and to adult learners. This includes a large offering of 100+ courses at A-Levels to vocational in a range of subjects including business, IT, performing arts, graphic design, games design, social sciences, maths and science, health and social care, trade skills and catering, as well as pre-university entry courses such as Access to Higher Education and Higher National Certificates.
