JOB TITLE:Biomedical Support Worker – Level 3
GRADE: Band 3
LOCATION: Microbiology, St. John’s Hospital
HOURS: 20 hrs/week
CONTRACT DURATION: Permanent
Applications are invited for the above post based in the Bacteriology Laboratory, St. John’s Hospital. The post involves general lab duties and specimen processing.
Hours of work are anticipated to be 9am-1pm, Monday to Friday. However, the successful candidate may be required to work altered hours and will be expected to join the existing weekend rota (currently one in four Saturdays).
Preference will be given to applicants with previous microbiology lab experience but is not essential as training will be given.
