Job Description
- Provide 1st Line Application Support to the user community.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and network.
- Escalate complex problems to the appropriate support teams.
- Maintain a log of all technical issues and solutions.
- Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of systems.
- Perform routine audits of systems and software.
- Contribute to the training of staff on new technologies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures within the technology department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 1st Line Application Support Analyst should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- An understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
- Knowledge and basic understanding of relational database.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Basic SQL query writing and understanding
- HTML/CSS Knowledge
- Knowledge of the industrial/manufacturing industry is a plus.
