Here at SecureCloud+ we are looking for a 1stLine Engineer to join our growing dynamic team at the forefront of technological innovation within the defence and security sectors. As a 1stLine Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting live operational systems.
As the successful candidate you will be SC cleared or be willing to undertake SC clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide first-line technical customer service support to our clients, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
- To respond to service requests and incidents, troubleshooting technical problems and escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Log and manage all incidents via the Service Management Tool.
- Perform system monitoring, activities ensuring the stability and security of IT infrastructure within our system environments.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and support in alignment with client requirements.
- Provide customers with timely updates to their cases in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Do you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in a technical support role, ideally within the defence or government sector.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across a variety of platforms and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and service management principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
- An awareness of Windows 10, Windows Server, VMware, Skype for Business, Office 365, McAfee and Sophos Anti-Virus; and Dell & Lenovo Laptops.
