Working for a reputable business in Bournemouth, you will be joining a busy and friendly IT Service Desk team on 1st and 2nd line support covering their UK wide network of offices. You will be the first point of contact for IT related issues and requests from the business.
You'll be answering the phone, logging incidents, unlocking accounts in Active Directory and monitoring the ticket queues to ensure that all new tickets are categorised and assigned correctly. You will be providing support to users with various levels of technical understanding so you will need to be able to clearly communicate with them using technical language and jargon they will understand. You will also receive training in their ITSM (IT Service Management Tool) tool, but any experience of ServiceNow would be beneficial, as well as having the opportunity to train in 3rd line support.
If you have experience on a 1st or 2nd line IT Service Desk in an ITIL environment, please apply. You will need a general IT understanding and experience dealing with level 1 issues.
This role is Monday-Friday on site in central Bournemouth on rota either 8am - 4:30pm (4pm on Fridays) or 9am - 5:30pm (5 on Fridays). There is also a weekend rota (1 in 4 weekends) where you will work either a Saturday or Sunday 10am - 1pm and will be paid extra for this.
