My client is a well-regarded global law firm, actively seeking an accomplished Data Privacy solicitor to enhance their practice. With a widespread presence spanning multiple continents, this firm has solidified its international reputation, garnering recognition in prestigious legal publications such as the Legal 500 and Chambers. My client is looking for a mid-rank lawyer with 2-5 years PQE, or a more senior legal professional with exceptional expertise. My client is actively seeking driven individuals to join their esteemed legal team in the role of Data Protection Solicitor.
As a Data Protection Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in handling a diverse range of legal matters related to Data Protection. In the realm of contentious experience, the ideal candidate should have a background encompassing security breach incident response, involvement in Data Protection regulatory investigations and enforcement actions, handling civil litigation and compensation claims arising from cybersecurity and data privacy breaches, and managing complex and contentious data subject rights requests (e.g., as a precursor to a grievance or litigation).
For regulatory lawyers, we are seeking individuals with a solid foundation in regulatory litigation who are now eager to transition into the dynamic field of Data Protection and data privacy.
Furthermore, we are looking for well-rounded Data Protection lawyers with robust experience across various domains. This includes expertise in developing and implementing compliance programs, navigating the intricacies of direct marketing and AdTech, managing international transfers, negotiating commercial contracts, and addressing HR data privacy issues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate versatility in handling a comprehensive spectrum of Data Protection matters.
