You will work as part of a management team providing leadership and supervision to a group of staff. You will take an active part in the absence review processes and you will be responsible for the day to day cover of staff rotas.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination and auditing of care plans and in leading the assessment and review process for individuals.
You will take an active part in the ordering and auditing medications for individuals as prescribed.
Previous experience in a management / care setting; SVQ 3 in health and Social Care or equivalent; a management qualification are essential to meet SSSC registration requirements.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account.
