SalaryAs the Team Manager for 2nd Charge Mortgage Case Managers, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing the performance of our team. We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional with a deep nderstanding of the second Charge Mortgage market and underwriting processes.
Salary will depend on experience Up to GBP50k basic + bonus including car allowence.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Manage and lead a team of 2nd Charge Mortgage Case Managers.
- Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Motivate and inspire the team to exceed performance target
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate comprehensive Management Information (MI) reports, including pipeline cases, completions, and volume projections.
- Proactively monitor and manage pipeline cases throughout the end-to-end process.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to file quality standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review underwriting decline decisions, exploring and challenging all available options.
Process Excellence:
- Drive continuous improvement in business operations and efficiency.
- Plan and implement innovative processes and strategies to enhance team productivity.
Training and Development:
- Effectively manage team members, providing continuous training and development.
- Foster an environment of continuous learning to ensure optimal team efficiency.
Performance Recognition:
Conduct regular team meetings to recognize achievements, review targets, and discuss workloads.
Requirements:
- Essential: Cemap qualified or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in the second Charge Mortgage market and underwriting processes.
- Previous experience in a regulated environment.Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze and present statistical data.
- Capacity to drive performance and implement process improvements.Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
