2ND LINE NOC SERVICE ENGINEER

NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE IN NEWPORT FOR A 2ND LINE NOC SERVICE ENGINEER TO WORK WITH AN ESTABLISHED AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE MANUFACTURER

• On-site in Newport
• Initial 12-month contract
• £50 per hour
• 24/7 Cover required (shift pattern can be provided)
• DV clearance required to start

WHAT WILL THE NOC L2 SERVICE ENGINEER BE DOING?

You will be joining a team providing service, support, and management capabilities to the Defence Information Infrastructure within Integrated Space Solutions, from delivery into live service, providing all aspects of continued management of the live infrastructure though to close down. Some of the responsibilities will roles include:

• Utilising people, process and tools to support live service and the implementation of design change.
• Implementing technical service solutions as a response to design changes, raised incidents and problems
• Providing technical assistance and instructional documentation to other Resolver Groups within the wider Service Operations

WE NEED THE NOC L2 SERVICE ENGINEER TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING…

• Strong Technical competence in Networking, Windows, SAN, Security & Virtualisation
• Experience in interpreting and producing, and tracking technical documentation
• Knowledge and understanding of Cisco Networks
• CCNA Network Accreditation is desirable
