3.5T Gas Cylinder Delivery Driver / Yard Worker / Labourer - Dumbarton

Albion Gases LTD are looking to grow our CYLINDER DELIVERY team due to recent large contract wins with some of Scotland's largest hospitality groups. Based out of our yard in Dumbarton, Albion Gases are one of Scotland's largest and fastest growing suppliers of co2 and mixed GAS CYLINDERs to some of countries largest and most well-known pubs, clubs and hotels for use in beverage dispensing. We cover most of Scotland, including but not limited to Glasgow, Ayrshire, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Fife, Stirling and Newcastle.

City Centre driving in both Glasgow and Edinburgh should be expected in addition to Stirling, Aberdeen and Newcastle. Your duties will also include cylinder filling and helping load and unload vehicles as required and work to a high standard individually or part of a team.

Ideal Candidate will have/be:

Full UK Driving License. No Dangerous Driving charges, or more than 6-points.

Fit, strong and willing to put in the work.This job requires heavy manual handling, with cylinders weighing 25KG each, you'll be expected to carry these up and down stairs as part of day-to-day operation.

Excellent Communication Skills.You'll be the face of our company when delivering to customers, an outgoing, customer-focused, personable attitude is essential.

Geographical Knowledge of Scotland. We cover all of Central Scotland and beyond.

Good writing and numeracy skills. You'll be expected to collect payment in cash, write invoices and delivery notes and relay information back to the office.

Previous Delivery Driver Experience and a good standard of driving. As a fast-growing company, although full training is provided, we expect any successful candidate to be able to drive to a high standard and have some experience in City Centre Driving / Deliveries.

In Exchange, we will offer you:

£13.25 Per Hour, 8 Hours a Day, 5 Days a week. 9AM - 5.30PM (30 Minute Lunch)

Candidates will also learn how to valve, paint and handle GAS CYLINDERs safely and gain certification as a cellar technician becoming a vital part of our team.
