Due to a number of contract wins, we have a large volume of work ahead in 2024 and beyond and are keen to expand our core team by adding experienced 2 Nr. Excavator Operators / Groundworkers.

JOB TITLE: 360 Excavator Operator / Groundworker

LOCATION: Aberdeenshire, Perthshire and Fife

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Macari Hill Civil Engineering is looking for Excavator Operators / Groundworkers who are multi-skilled, team players specifically with knowledge and experience of drainage, kerbing and both hard and soft reinstatement. Experience working around services is essential. The roles will involve working on a variety of projects in the North East of Scotland as well as Perthshire and Fife.

Although operatives residing in Perth, Angus or Aberdeen area would be preferred, the successful candidates will need to be willing to work anywhere in the North East or North West of Scotland with overnight stays often being required. Operatives with DOMS / Water Hygiene Cards and EUSR 1 & 2 are preferred and valid CPCS / NPORS Card is essential with lifting ops.

DUTIES:

- Maintain Health and Safety awareness on site and a safe and secure working areas.

- Experience of general civils work.

- Grading, Loading, Excavation.

- Operating plant on site.

- Complete daily plant check sheets.

- Work within parameters of permit to work system.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- Valid CSCS card.·

- Valid CPCS / NPORS ticket c/w lifting ops.

- DOMS Water Hygiene qualification desirable but not essential.

- EUSR 1 &2 desirable but not essential.

- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

- Knowledge of Health and Safety on site.

- Previous experience in a similar role.

- Full driving license.

REPORTING TO: Operations Director

Hours: As required, Monday to Friday.
