360 Operative

Our client is currently looking for temp to perm 360 Machine Operatives to work within the recycling sector for our busy client based in Stanwell.

Hours are:
Monday to Friday
06:00 - 17:00
Hourly Rate
Days - £14
Nights - £16

Duties of a 360 Machine Operatives:

• Complete daily Mobile Plant maintenance check sheets in full as directed
• Keep inside of cab and machine clean and tidy
• Responsible for notifying the Maintenance team of shredder through put issues and assisting with any blockages which occur during operation
• Key person with regards to Fire Watch duties during shift operation. The majority of fires will start at the Metso shredder
• Understand the procedure's if witnessing a fire either in the waste reception hall or through the shredding of the in-feed materials.

All plant operatives must leave their machine in a clean and suitable condition for the following shift. This will include:

• Diesel
• Engine/Hydraulic Oils
• Ad Blue
• Greasing the machine up in full
• Blow out cab of engine filters and radiator
• Blow out and clean cab and any other duties required to maintain plant item

This exciting temp - perm opportunity would suit candidates who have experience working a 360 machine or would like to be trained on to operate these. In-house training can be given.

If you are a Limited Company contractor, you can 'opt out' of the regulations. Whilst the regulations have been conceived to ensure greater legislative protection for candidates, there may be issues which conflict with the spirit of the IR35 rules.

Opting out of the regulations will have benefits if you decide that you want to be considered self-employed. This will mean you will not be afforded the same protection as that of our PAYE workers but does bring you a step closer to being seen as genuinely self-employed and therefore could be viewed as outside the scope of the IR35 tax rules. If you wish to opt-out, you need to do so before your contract starts. To do this, please inform your consultant and sign and return the EAA opt-out form. Please note if we do not receive your signed form then your opt-out will be invalid.
