Nigel Wright are excited to be working with a forward-thinking technology company as they look to recruit a 3rd Line Engineer
The position will primarily centre around resolving technical tickets, creating technical processes and protocols to enhance overall service responsiveness and efficiency, while collaborating closely with peers.
Responsibilities:
- Offering guidance to Service Desk personnel regarding ticket resolution.
- Enforcing adherence to technical processes and procedures during ticket resolution.
- Point of escalation to 2nd line Technical Engineers where necessary.
- Addressing and resolving 3rd Line Tickets.
- Contributing to the expansion of the technical knowledge base.
- Supplying feedback to the Project and Service Operations Manager on all technical aspects related to the service desk.
- Escalating issues to the Infrastructure Manager where necessary
- Notifying the Security and Network Manager about any critical or security incidents.
Requirements:
- 3 plus years experience in a escalation role either 2nd or 3rd Line
- Mentoring junior members of team
- strong communication skills
- MS Windows Server: AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- O365: Exchange Admin, SharePoint Admin, AAD
- Citrix knowledge is extremely beneficial
- SQL Server: Troubleshooting, Backup and Restore
- VMWare knowledge
