Location: Reading Centre

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on building fabric elements.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Shift Patterns:

Core Hours:

• Week 1: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 16:00
• Week 2: Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 16:00

Rota:

• Week 3:
  • Monday & Tuesday: 07:00 - 16:00
  • Wednesday: 07:00 - 11:30 (1/2 day)
  • Thursday & Friday: Off
• Week 4:
  • Saturday: 07:30 - 19:30
  • Sunday: 09:30 - 17:30
  • Monday - Friday: 11:30 - 20:30 (On Call week)

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work the described shift patterns, including weekends and on-call duties.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications in building maintenance or related fields.
