Shift Pattern: One week: 6am - 3pm, Following week: 8am - 5pm. Supporting in the on-call rota.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Static Handy person to join our team based in Reading. As a Static Handy person, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aspects of our facilities and equipment. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including participation in an on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Perform inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Liaise with contractors and vendors as needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handy person or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and participate in the on-call rota.
