3rd Line Support Engineer
£32,000 - £40,000
Portsmouth - ad hoc hybrid working
Your Challenge
This isn’t a service desk support role. However, you’ll be the major escalation point for any serious IT issues from the IT service desk.
Your role will be primarily project focused; helping transform the whole IT department.
The technology stack is across Windows Server, M365, networking (firewalls, routing, switching, DNS etc.)
You will be responsible for delivering projects across SharePoint, Azure, Intune and Endpoint for everything cloud related.
You'll be part of a dynamic and expanding team of skilled engineers, contributing to the delivery of internal IT support services and IT projects for a user base of 1800 individuals across the organization.
This is an opportune moment to join the organization, given the exciting array of new projects scoped for the upcoming year, including a variety of technologies from Networking, Infrastructure and Cloud.

About You:
First and foremost, you should have some strong and knowledgeable experience providing both 2nd line and 3rd Line IT support.
As an IT Support Engineer you have some experience with the following technologies:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Ideally M365 technologies across Azure, SharePoint, Intune, Endpoint
- Networking topology, including routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, firewalls
- Virtualisation technologies - VMware/Hyper-V
