We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer to join a dynamic IT support team in Newcastle. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing top-tier Technical Support and problem-solving expertise.

The Role:
As 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer, you will act as the final point of contact for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and the minimisation of downtime for clients. Utilising your in-depth technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure and network issues. Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring problems and devise long-term solutions. Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that client issues are resolved with minimal disruption.
Required Skill Set:
- Extensive experience in a 3rd/2nd Line IT support role, with a proven track record of working in a support / technical escalation role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualisation technologies.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting, firewalls, and routing.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
