We are seeking to appoint an outstanding colleague to lead our excellent Mathematics Department.
This post provides the ideal opportunity for an existing Head of Mathematics to take a step into senior leadership, as an Associate Member of our Senior Leadership Team. As the successful candidate, you will make a major contribution to the further development of our Mathematics Department and, in return, we will provide you with proactive support and professional development as a school leader.
We also welcome applications from candidates who are keen to start their middle leadership journey with us as Head of Mathematics, with the opportunity for further development following at a later time.
Bartholomew School is a highly successful, oversubscribed school situated in the heart of rural, West Oxfordshire. Rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2013, the school has continued to grow and flourish. It is a dynamic, vibrant community of over 1300 students, including a large Sixth Form.
Key Responsibilities of the Head of Mathematics
- Be responsible and accountable for the delivery of the Mathematics curriculum at all Key Stages
- Be responsible and accountable for student outcomes in Mathematics at all Key Stages
- To take the lead on a whole school priority from the School Development Plan each year
- The successful candidate will:
