Self-employed ABA tutor position to cover 30 hours per week, available in Bristol working with 16 year old child on the autism spectrum.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals is required to work with child at home on a programme overseen by a BCBA behaviour and education specialist. ABA programme will focus on teaching social and self-help skills along with academic learning. Having your own transportation is helpful with this job. Although applicants will be self-employed, ongoing support and training will be provided along with support and guidance toward being successfully self-employed. This can be a part-time post with opportunity to increase hours if interested.
An ABA Therapist:
• Work on a one-to one basis with the child delivering individualised targets
• Receives supervision and direction from an ABA consultant
• Liaise with consultants and parents regarding the child's progress
• Assists with the preparation of resources required for ABA progress
• Attends meetings
An ABA Therapist Has:
• The freedom to set their own schedule
• The ability to work around their own schooling or other work responsibilities
Working hours vary within the hours of 10am-7.00pm dependant on what programs you have been selected to be on.
