To find out more about our commitment to ED&I, please click here About the Role Provide strategic vision, academic leadership, implementation of activities supporting a positive academic Student Experience, particular focus on teaching, Learning and the student academic journey. Part of the senior team within a small specialist organisation, the role is critical in ensuring successful delivery of strategic priorities, working closely with academic departments and professional services to ensure implementation, being cogniscent of the student voice. Build on the established approach to teaching and learning, driving forward a culture of applied curriculum which is industry led, impactful to practice. Therefore, overseeing curriculum development, review and academic staff development are important aspects of this role. Developing and formulating strategies, using a range of data and measures, to enhance the student learning experience (as measured by for example, NSS, PTES, Graduate Outcomes, continuation/retention metrics and the University’s performance in TEF and APP). About You Experienced higher education professional, confident leader, able to engage and motivate others in line with strategic priorities. Work closely with the senior team and all levels of academic and professional services staff, comfortable with strategy, implementation and review.
