Accommodation Coordinator

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Warwickshire, who are recruiting for a part time Accommodation Co-Ordinator on a temporary contract for four months. The position is due to start immediately. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £17.50 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have an Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last three years, drive and have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing attentive housing support and advice to a group of five key clients with complex needs - including mental health and substance misuse

• Conducting home visits in order to ensure tenant wellbeing and safety

• Forming tailored support and welfare plans to fit customer needs

• Carrying out risk assessments, health and safety checks and monitoring safeguarding issues

• Assisting individuals with application processes, including housing and benefit forms

• Liaising with external agencies and signposting customers accordingly to provide additional support

Experience required:

• Working with customers who have mental health and substance misuse

• Experience working alongside other external agencies to ensure customers have the appropriate support

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Knowledge of health and safety procedures to create risk assessments

• Up to date on all safeguarding policies and legislations

Working hours:

• 23.00 hours per week (three days per week which can be negotiated)

• Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm (flexible working hours)
