Role
The Account Broker role will be responsible for maximising business income through effective handling of customers. To achieve agreed targets for renewal retention and customer service agreements whilst exceeding customer expectations and meeting FCA requirements.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- To manage existing client relationships and provide A grade customer service.
- Achieve renewal income and client retention targets whilst ensuring good customer outcomes.
- Give suitable advice to customers within the FCA regulatory framework.
- Generate referrals across the business.
- Adhere to procedures for customer debt.
- Ensure that customer service standards are met.
Person
The Account Broker should have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and strong relationships in order to appropriately manage the account and look for growth opportunities.
You will also have the following:
- General insurance knowledge gained in a Broking or Insurance Company environment.
- Minimum Cert CII or working towards.
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong sales skill and cross-sale skills
- Ability to deliver advice to allow customers to make informed decisions
- Positive and enthusiastic communication skills
- Individual accountability with the ability to spot and identify opportunities and provide solutions
