Account Manager
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join an Adhesives specialist located near Southampton. This position will be handling their European clients and will involve regular travel overseas.
Responsibilities:
- Key account management within mainland Europe
- Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, joint visits to customers, training sessions, answering enquiries, providing quotations and samples
- Generating and following up business leads
- Visiting clients across Europe and supporting product trials, troubleshooting
- Use CRM to record leads, visit reports, sample logging and follow ups
- Track sales targets, investigate negative variances
- Support new product launches and promotional sales activities
- Liaise with technical team for support, training and technical projects
- Supporting customer services and accounts with account related queries e.g. payment, terms and credit control matters
- Exhibition stand manning or attendance at trade shows and conferences
Requirements for this role:
- Proven account management experience
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Confident converting leads to sales
- Proficient Microsoft user
- Full Driving license and own vehicle
- Happy to travel regularly overseas
- Additional language is a bonus
The Role:
- Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm
- Negotiable salary
- Annual bonus depending on sales achieved
