Position: Hardware Sales Account Manager (Critical Infrastructure)
Location: Home-based, covering the Midlands
Salary: Basic salary around £50,000 (uncapped OTE £65,000)
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and analytical Account Manager within Critical Infrastructure. As a Hardware Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in selling our critical power equipment (including UPS and Generator Sets) and associated services. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, your target market will include M&E Contractors, Facilities Management, Local Authorities, Consulting Engineers, and end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the company’s core values (dynamic, honest, transparent, adaptable, trustworthy).
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing and new customers.
- Prioritize business development activities and customer/prospect interactions to achieve agreed-upon business goals.
- Manage product/service pricing and margins according to established targets.
- Utilize CRM systems for effective customer and prospect communication.
- Facilitate internal and external negotiations to build profitable business relationships.
- Generate accurate sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with vendors for product information, availability, and special projects.
- Represent the company at external customer meetings and internal functions.
- Provide market feedback to management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record in sales and business development, consistently achieving monthly targets.
- Experience managing accounts, customers, and large contracts (sales orders ranging from £1,000 to over £500,000).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and SAGE.
- Background in sales within the UPS & Generator industry or a related field.
Package:
- Basic starting salary of approximately £50,000 (based on a 37-hour workweek).
- 20 days of holiday (plus Bank Holidays), increasing to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years of service.

Location Details:
Based from your home in the Midlands region of the UK, occasional travel to the head office in Hampshire will be required for meetings and training.
