Concept Onyx Recruitment, representing a vibrant company based in Reading, is on the lookout for a skilled PR Account Manager to join our team, specializing in the dynamic world of tech, offering fully remote working with one meeting per fortnight in London or Reading and a competitive salary.

As a PR Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the reputations of our clients and overseeing their press coverage. You'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients within the tech industry and promoting them to their target audiences across various media platforms.
 
The Day to Day:

Manage a portfolio of clients' PR accounts primarily within the tech sector

Provide commentators and media outlets with relevant product or company information

Foster strong relationships with both existing and new clients

Cultivate connections with key media contacts within the industry

Develop innovative media strategies

Offer creative ideas and solutions to meet the unique needs of clients

Keep clients briefed and updated on press campaigns

Analyze PR coverage within the industry and deliver comprehensive reports

Communicate effectively with stakeholders involved in the PR process

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the daily point of contact for key media contacts within the industry

Design industry-focused PR campaigns tailored to client needs

Manage client accounts efficiently, meeting their requirements effectively

Contribute to daily meetings, providing updates and insights to clients

Stay up-to-date with current PR trends and tools within the sector

Craft and refine content, including press releases and thought leadership articles

Develop compelling news angles and pitches to elevate client profiles

Achieve client key performance indicators and drive account growth within the sector

Participate in pitching for new business and crafting PR proposals

Mentor and guide junior team members to foster growth and development within the sector

Key Skills:

Must have a passion for technology and a keen interest in the sector

Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills

Demonstrated creativity and innovation in industry-focused PR campaigns

Strong copywriting abilities

Commercial acumen and industry knowledge

Outstanding organizational skills, adept at managing multiple projects

Proven ability to build influential networks within the industry
